Dr. Sanchez will design an individualized eating plan, just for you, that is based upon WHOLE FOODS nutrition. Additionally, she offers programs in detoxification/fasting, raw foods, and fitness. She teaches patients the principles of Lifestyle Medicine that is based on Nature Cure & Natural Hygiene utilizing nature's medicine cabinet enabling the body to heal itself.

Clean water, sunshine, fresh air, whole food nutrition, appropriate sleep/rest, cultivating joy & happiness in your life, periodic fasting and/or detoxification, stress management, mind-body medicine, and exercise/movement are the basic foundation of your comprehensive health plan.

Dr. Sanchez is a graduate of the National College of Naturopathic Medicine (NCNM) in Portland, OR and holds a license in Washington State.

Dr. Sanchez is a member of the National Health Association/American Natural Hygiene Society, the National College of Lifestyle Medicine (NCLM), the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM), and is a graduate of Dr. Joel Fuhrman's Nutritional Education Institute and is certified as a Nutritional Education Trainer (NET) for the program.

This nutrition program emphasizes a "Nutritarian" eating-style of Nutritional Excellence. Nutritional excellence maximizes the beneficial health promoting effects of eating a variety of micronutrient-rich natural foods.

To assure nutritional excellence, individuals must understand their own unique nutritional needs. From there, the quality of an individual’s diet must be increased accordingly to experience the most profound therapeutic effects for preventing, treating and reversing disease.

Dr. Sanchez was a frequent guest host for the former radio wellness program, The Wellness Forum , which was heard each Saturday afternoon on 630 KHOW in 2004. She is a nutrition instructor for the Colorado School of Healing Arts in Lakewood, as well as the former Director of Nutrition for Natural Grocers by Vitamin Cottage.

Dr. Sanchez is currently pursuing her certificate as a Professional Cancer Coach from the National Association of Professional Cancer Coaches (NAPCC). The association's primary responsibility is to unite professionally trained cancer coaches with men and women who want an evidence-based cancer prevention or recovery program. NAPCC's cancer coaches are registered and licensed health care professionals (R.N.'s, Psychologists, Registered Nutritionists, Naturopathic Doctors, Pharmacists, etc.) who are educated and experienced in both conventional and holistic cancer medicine.

She has also earned a certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition. This course was designed and taught by Cornell University professor emeritus, T. Colin Campbell, PhD, author of The China Study.

Dr. Sanchez is on the staff of Metropolitan State College of Denver as a part-time, affiliate professor in the Health Professions Department/Integrative Therapeutic Practices (ITP).
