Nutritional Education Institute and is certified as a Nutritional Education Trainer (NET) for the program.

Dr. Sanchez was a frequent guest host for the former radio wellness program, The Wellness Forum , which was heard each Saturday afternoon on 630 KHOW in 2004. She is a nutrition instructor for the Colorado School of Healing Arts in Lakewood, as well as the former Director of Nutrition for Natural Grocers by Vitamin Cottage.
Dr. Sanchez is currently pursuing her certificate as a Professional Cancer Coach from the National Association of Professional Cancer Coaches (NAPCC). The association's primary responsibility is to unite professionally trained cancer coaches with men and women who want an evidence-based cancer prevention or recovery program. NAPCC's cancer coaches are registered and licensed health care professionals (R.N.'s, Psychologists, Registered Nutritionists, Naturopathic Doctors, Pharmacists, etc.) who are educated and experienced in both conventional and holistic cancer medicine.
She has also earned a certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition. This course was designed and taught by Cornell University professor emeritus, T. Colin Campbell, PhD, author of The China Study.
Dr. Sanchez is on the staff of Metropolitan State College of Denver as a part-time, affiliate professor in the Health Professions Department/Integrative Therapeutic Practices (ITP).
